For those carrying a lot of luggage, there are 2 bridges to cross and porters are on hand at times.

Santa Lucia Train Station is approximately a mile away from the hotel along the Grand Canal. Baggage trolleys and porter service are available. The hotel can be easily reached by water taxi -a 15-minute ride directly to the taxi stand facing the hotel or by public boat transportation - a 25-minute ride serviced by boat lines : 41 or 51 , or 40 minute ride with line 1 trough the Grand Canal. All stop at San Zaccaria (stop no. 16), litterally few steps away from the hotel.
N.B. For those catching line nr.1 and carrying a lot of luggage, there is one bridge to cross. Public transportation tends to be quite crowded, especially at peak hours.
